This website is owned and operated by U Style It. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing this website. Any person who accesses this website (read, and/or purchase products and services) agree and is bound to our Terms and Conditions as listed below as well as any relevant legislations.  These terms apply to all visitors, users and producers of this site as well as any customers who are making use of U Style It’s products and/or services. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions of this website, then you will not be granted access or use it to purchase any of our products and/or services.

 

BOOKINGS

  1. You may not use our products and/or services for any illegal or unauthorized reasons that violates any laws, including copyright laws.
  2. Bookings can be done online (ustyleit.co.za) through our website order form or alternatively via email ([email protected]) or through contacting / WhatsApp us directly at (063-619-0134). No other 3rd party platforms or methods are authorized to take bookings for U Style It.
  3. The event start date and event end date refer to the days on which your order will be delivered to you (or when it is ready for collection) and when the rental should be returned or collected for delivery. Ensure that your actual event falls within this period to allow time for delivery and return.
  4. The standard rental period is 5 days (including Saturday and Sunday). Should you require the rental for a longer period, please contact U Style It to arrange and confirm in writing.
  5. Additional services such as a cleaning fee, fresh flowers or delivery and collection are optional, however a refundable breakage deposit of R1,000.00 per box is mandatory.
  6. Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order, full payment of the booking fee and the refundable breakage deposit.
  7. Once you have placed your order we will contact you within the next 24 hours via email. Should you have not received any email from us within the specified time period, please contact us to confirm that the order has been received.

 

PAYMENTS

  1. Payments are done through PayFast secure payment gateway. Once payment has been received, it will be considered as an acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as stipulated here.
  2. You will have the choice to make payment online either with a valid credit or debit card, direct bank transfer or through Snapscan or Zapper. We unfortunately do not accept cash on collection or delivery.
  3. The amount payable will include the R1,000.00 refundable breakage deposit, which is mandatory to secure your order, and will be held to cover any loss or damaged to any of our rental items.
  4. U Style It will refund the full deposit immediately after the box has been returned and each item checked that it is still in working condition. We will be in touch if there are any issues to discuss or breakages in the returned box upon which the charges will be deducted from your breakage deposit. (Please see the section for Lost and Damaged Items).
  5. Refunds will be processed through the PayFast portal directly back to your debit/credit card that you used for the booking or alternatively through electronic bank transfer to your preferred bank account provided in writing.
  6. Please note that transferring money between different banks can take up to three working days to reflect. If you have not received your breakage deposit after three workings days, please contact us.

 

OUR BOXES

  1. All items within each U Style It décor rental box remain the property of U Style It unless specified otherwise.
  2. Each box is equipped with the listed items to host a table of six (6) guests which includes 6 placemats, 6 dinner plates, 6 side plates, 6 glasses, 6 sets of spoons, knives and forks, 6 fabric napkins, tablecloth or runner and various decorative items.
  3. Should you require a place setting for eight (8) guests then please contact us to discuss this at a reduced additional setting rate. For settings nine (9) and more an additional box must be booked.
  4. All our items are cleaned and sanitised before being packed in the box. Our boxes are sealed after sanitising to ensure hygiene protocols are maintained. However, U Style It shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with any item.
  5. We expect all plates, glassware, and cutlery to be carefully washed before their return. Please do not wash our linen. If a “Cleaning Fee” has been chosen upon booking, then please follow the instructions as provided with your box.
  6. All items must be wrapped and repacked in its original packaging as per the instructions provided with your order.

 

SHIPPING & RETURNS

  1. If you have chosen our shipping option, then U Style It will arrange delivery of the box(es) to your specified address through our preferred supplier, arriving on the event start date as indicated when the booking was made. We will notify you of delivery ahead of schedule via email or text.
  2. Please ensure that the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. U Style It does not bear liability for goods left unattended.
  3. In the unlikely event that a box is returned to us as undeliverable then every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.
  4. Should you wish to collect your order from our offices in Durbanville, please contact us ahead of schedule to arrange a suitable time for collection.
  5. Please return the boxes on the last day of your booking (event end date) at our offices on the arranged time.
  6. If courier collection has been chosen, we will arrange that the preferred supplier will collect the boxes on the last day of the booking (event end date). We will notify you of collection ahead of schedule via email or text.
  7. Late fees will apply to boxes not returned at the specified date or in the event the courier is unable to collect due to your absence. R300,00 per late day will be charged and this will be deducted from your breakage deposit.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Cancellations must be sent in writing to [email protected].
  2. Rentals cancelled fourteen (14) days or more in advance of the event start date – A full refund and breakage deposit is applicable.
  3. Rentals cancelled between fourteen (14) and seven (7) days prior to the event start date – A full refund of your breakage deposit will apply, however a full credit of your rental will be offered which can be applied to any future rental (a breakage deposit will be charged on the future rental).
  4. Rentals cancelled less that seven (7) days prior to the event start date – A full refund of your breakage deposit but a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

 

LOST & DAMAGED ITEMS

  1. By renting our boxes you agree to treat all items, the packaging as well as the box itself, with great care, and understand that you are responsible for any loss, breakages or damage to any of its’ items once the box has left our premises. This excludes any normal wear and tear of items regularly used such as minor stains or scratches to linen and other items which do easily occur.
  2. However, should you return the box and any of its’ content is damaged beyond repair you will be charged for either the price for repairing or replacing the item. This will be deducted from your breakage deposit.
  3. Kindly let us know if you are aware of any breakages or loss of items prior to shipping or delivering the box back to us by contacting, texting or emailing us at our listed contact details. Please send us a report and photos of the damaged item and we will also assess the item once received in order to determine the cost of damage.
  4. Note that candle wax on tablecloths and runners is viewed as damage to the item.
  5. In the rare event that the whole box is stolen/missing and not returned within five (5) days, you will be liable to pay U Style It the total value of replacement of the box and its items.
  6. Should there be any damages to your rental when it has arrived at your door, please contact us immediately prior to your event. We will ensure a re­placement product is at your door in time.

  1. All aspects of this website (copy, imagery, code, and tools) are copyrighted under the South African law and other relevant copyright laws.

  3. Any persons are granted permission to electronically print or copy parts of this site for the sole purpose of purchasing our products or using our service. One may display and, subject to any restrictions or limitations relating to specific material, download or print parts of the material from different areas of the website solely non-commercial use, or to use our products and services. Any other use (distribution and publication) of content from this website is prohibited, unless authorized by U Style It. You further agree not to change or remove any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the site.

You agree that U Style It’s maximum total liability for any possible claims by reason of any act shall be limited to the amount of the booking fee actually paid. You agree that U Style It is not liable for any claim for emotional distress, mental anguish, punitive damages, consequential damages, lost profit, loss of enjoyment, lost revenues, or replacement costs, whether or not foreseeable or arising from any negligent act or omission on the part of any person.
  2. You hereby agree that you are of the legal age of 18 years to access this website as well making use of our products and/or services. U Style It will not be held liable for persons who access this website unlawfully.
  3. You hereby authorize that you have the legal right to use any credit cards or other payment methods and that the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.
  4. You hereby agree that by submitting personal information, you grant us the right to provide it to third parties for the purposes of facilitating our service.
  5. We have the right to refuse service, limit the quantities of boxes or cancel your order for any reason at any time while still adhering to the booking, payments and cancellation terms.
  6. While every reasonable effort will be made to deliver the booked box style, we have the sole right to discontinue any box or individual item contained within any box at any time as well as make changes or update our service offering.
  7. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
